Priest Training

*The Zip Lining Company has suspended operations for the day.* 

We will still meet at the Skyline Building for that portion of the Training at 6:00 PM. 

We will go over camp responsibilities, get the Priest's input for the July camp, have some snacks, and more.

In preparation for the full Aaronic Priesthood Camp in July, the Priests will have an activity and training on Wednesday June 11th at 3:00, hoping people can arrive 15 minutes early so we can begin zip lining at 3:00. 

The Priests will have responsibilities at our Stake Camp in July including teaching devotionals, classes, and leading the other young men. We hope to go over these responsibilites with them, do some team building, and prepare them to be successful at camp. Dinner will be included.

There are a few critical pieces of information needed for this activity:

1. Priests are invited to zip line, along with the Stake Camp Leaders that will be helping them with their camp responsibilities. Other ward leaders are not invited due to the cost, but are welcome to attend and watch if desired. 

2. The Activity begins at 3:00 PM, but please arrive 15 minutes early if possible to review and ensure waivers are in place. 

3. Two waivers are required for this activity, and Young Men will not be allowed to participate without these.

4. To be allowed on the zip lines, all participants must:

   1. Wear Close-toed shoes. The Zip Lining Company said crocs do not count. 

   2. Bring a pair of gloves for the zip line. These can be gardening gloves or leather gloves. They can be open fingered, but must cover the palm.

   3. Please bring a water bottle.

5. We will begin at Trinity Forest Adventure Park ( 1800 Dowdy Ferry Rd, Dallas, TX 75217 ), but will be ending the night at the Skyline Building between 8 and 8:30.
